Diagnosis

Male : A medium-sized species with a predominantly chrome-yellow to orange-yellow body and distinctive dark apical abdominal rings. The head is mostly yellow, with the labium pale yellow, labrum bright yellow, and vertex dark brown to olive-brown. The prothorax and synthorax are mainly olive-green to greenish-yellow, with only weak darker markings. The legs are pale ochreous with narrow dark brown lines along the outer surfaces of the femora. Wings are hyaline with saffron tinting, and the pterostigma is very small and dark brown. The abdomen is long and slender, mostly chrome-yellow, becoming more vivid on the dorsum of segment 2. Segments 3–6 possess very distinct blackish-brown apical rings occupying about one-sixth of each segment, while segments 7–10 are progressively darker. The anal appendages are darkened, much shorter than segment 10, and characteristically shaped; the superior appendages are slightly longer than the inferior appendages. Female : The head is yellowish-green. Compound eyesgreen.The green thorax is more yellowish ventrallywith a black humeral line.The legs are pale yellow andthere are posterior black stripes along the femur to thetarsus. Spines black.Transparent wings with yellowpterostigma.The abdomen is almost the same as themale in that there is a ring in each apical segment, palebrown base colour from segment 2 to segment 10 (Syahroni et al., 2021).
